Men's 03-04 Season Outlook:
In his fourth year at the heart of the Bowdoin men’s and women’s squash teams, head coach Tomas Fortson anticipates exciting campaigns from both squads. A solid core of veterans will provide leadership for each team and look to capitalize on the junior-level experience of Bowdoin's recruits. Again, depth up and down the ladders and constant improvement characterize the program.

The men’s lineup boasts a number of talented veterans from the 2002 and 2003 teams that landed 12th and 15th in the nation. Seniors Greg Clement and Lawrence Delasotta will likely join Junior Jon Crowell on top of the ladder. As usual, the Polar Bears will look to their impressive depth for match wins, calling on Sophomores Bruce Saltzman and Chris Metcalf, along with Freshman Matt Drescher to perform well in the middle of the lineup.

The 2004 season marks the return of senior co-captain Mike Fensterstock from injury, his appearance and the January arrival of Junior Eric Toan will provide a boost to the ladder. Sophomore Nick Adams and Freshman Zach Linhart are expected to contribute in the lineup immediately.

Bowdoin faces another challenging schedule of competitive match-ups. Trinity, Yale, Williams, Cornell, and Amherst will test out the Polar Bears on the road and matches against Denison, Navy, and Hobart will provide the meat of the season. The Bears will host Brown and Dartmouth as well as look to continue a recently heated CBB championship series with Colby and Bates.
