Dartmouth Big Green Look To Defend Top 8 Spot

Men's 03-04 Season Outlook:
The Dartmouth Big Green return all starters from last year's 8th ranked team for the 2003-04 campaign. Though recruiting results were a little disappointing the addition of St. George's Todd Wood will indeed strengthen the team. As well, Jim Crandell (NJ), Dan Schnieder (NY) and Billy Nix (CT) will be fighting hard for a starting spots.

The schedule will be as tough as ever given the strong Ivy League and additional matches with Trinity, Williams, Amherst, Navy, F&M, along with Bowdoin, Bates and Colby.

Also on this year's calender will be the improving MIT, St.Lawrence and Hobart teams. Though the squad will be missing starters Tim Vipond and Cam Fortin for their two fall encounters with Navy and F&M the Big Green certainly hope to move ahead of Western,
Penn and Cornell by the end of the season.

With 1st team all-american junior Ryan Donegan at the #1 spot, fourth year starters Jesse Nisselson, Andrei Prokopiw and Chris O'Connell adding the leadership and Cinncinati's Hank Alexander and Providence's Adam Slutsky with a season under their belts Dartmouth will indeed be a stronger team.

Early indication shows that 1st year Todd Wood could battle as high as #2 on the roster but that still remains to be seen.
