Enthusiastic GWU Squad Takes Shape

Men's 03-04 Season Outlook:
GWU men's squash team is coming back from an exciting 2002 -'03 season even stronger.

With the departure of the teams captain, Matt Navarro, the Colonials have added two new freshman to the roster that should enhance the middle of the lineup. Both from Tabor Academy are Mike Integlia and Daniel Shafer and Coach Harrington expects them to fill the
middle nicely. Also playing this year will be sophomore, Ben Hoefs who injured his maniscus in the first week of practice last year.

A fourth addition will be junior, Tyler Wolas who has taken a couple of years off but is now ready to step in and help this team to keep building.

GWU will also be returning last years number one Dhruv Singh and he is expected to be really tested by last years number two Greg Vernick who has committed himself to the game of squash. Greg spent the summer with his coach in Boston and also completed his coaching level two course. Mike Greenwald is also returning and will be challenged by both Hoefs and Wolas for that number three spot that he magnificently played last year.

The guys are extremely eager to get the season underway and the challenge for them this year is to go from winning that Conroy Cup in the fourth division to challenge for the cup at third division.
