Mt. Holyokes Sets High Goals for '03-04

Women's 03-04 Season Outlook:
Mount Holyoke had their most successful season to date during 2002-2003. They complied a 16-12 winning record and a final placement of 17th at the Howe Cup, winning their division and becoming the Walker Cup Champions.

The Mt. Holyoke Squash Squad

This season the Lyons are hoping to compete in the Kutz division for the first time in the schools squash history and win the Seven Sisters tournament.

Returning players Liz Hughes #1(19-7) and Nusrat Madraswala #2 (21-2) represented MHC at the WCSA Individual Championships. They will return and form the core of the team. Shubika Bilkha #3 hopes to have an injury free season and improve her 16-7 record.

Joining them will be new recruit, Divya Rajan, from India. Divya recently represented India at the Asian Junior Squash Championships where the team won a gold medal. She also competed in the German Junior Open where she finished 14th.

Abby Horne, Nana Osam –Tewiah and Andra Petrica were presented the WCSA
Scholar-Athlete Award and will be seniors this season.
