Squash Program Preview
Having weathered the loss of 6 seniors in 2002-03, and only dropping 4 ranking spots, the Cardinals are in a great position to surge ahead in 2003-04.

Being led by senior captains Kevin Mccarthy and Benson Gillespie, Wesleyan welcomes back all but one of the starting line-up from last year. Incoming freshmen Andy Aylward and Dylan Rau will add further depth.

Andrew Rozas ended the year at number 3, and will be pushing to go even higher. James Utterback, Philip Wallach and Omair Sarwar will make up the middle order, while Than Chantaralawan, Umay Suanda and Brooke Lloyd will be provide great depth at the lower end of the order.

The season highlights will include roadtrips to Middlebury and St Lawrence, and down to Annapolis and Philadelphia. Also planned is a training week in California in the first week of January.

The Harvard Round Robin is taking place again, as well as Little 3's and Yale round robin, all leading up to Team Nationals at Yale Feb 27-29.

Key Players
Benson Gillespie - will take a herculean effort to
dislodge him from the number 1 position. Will give any player in college
squash difficulty.

Kevin Mccarthy - again captain, made big improvments last year in
consistency. One of the fittest players, has the ability to play his best
when it counts.

Andrew Rozas - fantastic retrieval ability, had the best individual record
in his freshman year.
