Wesleyan Aims to Improve on Last Year's Finish

Squash Program 03-04 Preview
The Wesleyan women's squash team will be looking to build on their success of 2002-03, and improve even further our performance in the Walker Cup (C Div.).

Namely a 4 spot improvment will be the goal for Wesleyan, and will give us another division title to go along with our D division title from 2 years ago.

We will resume our traditional rivalries with schools such as Conn College, Smith, Tufts and William-Smith, and will be looking to bridge the gap against Wellesley and Mt Holyoke.

The hightlight of the year for us will be the annual Wesleyan Round Robin Dec 5-7, along with tournaments at Amherst, Mt Holyoke/Smith, and a road trip up to Middlebury and St Lawrence. All leading up to Howe Cup at Yale.

Key Players
Sa Suwanarat (capt) - At her best, Sa can play alongside anyone in college squash. Will be looking to cuase some upsets against some of the better players, as she almost did in the individuals last year.

Dina Guth (capt) - having only played 2 seasons, Dina is already playing at the number 1/2 position. Very fit and quick, Dina will continue to learn the specifics of the game, and will be looking forward to the opportunity to reverse some match results from last year against more experienced opponents.
